I was reading online and there was multiple complaints about the heating going bad in the Nissan Rogue and there was not a think. I am sure this will be very plush and a lot of people were proverb 1000.00 plus dollars. It is wintertime and holiday fourth dimension and so I am waiting until afterward Christmas to go this fixed. Wish that Nissan would confess the problem is their error and do a think, so car owners would not accept to eat this cost.

Later on taking my car in for the latest maintenance at the dealership, not even a week later my heater/air-conditioning stopped working properly. When the air conditioner is on, it blows out hot air...and when the heater is on, it blows out cold air! Very frustrating, and this only happens with the drivers side for some reason! The remaining vents blow out the right temperatures. I took information technology to a local store and paid $100 to take them tell me the Heater cadre needs to be replaced and it'll cost me close to $3,000 to repair.
I chosen the dealership to get a 2d opinion, and was informed information technology would be $175 simply to look into the event! I let them know what the local shop said and was told this was an unlikely issue (which is not what the majority of the internet is saying). The dealer informed me if this was the instance it would exist upwardly of $four,000 and that the labor alone is $1,000!!
If this is a common issue for Nissan rogue owners from 2022-2017, why have they not recalled this?! This is very dangerous when driving in the cold mornings and the defroster is not working properly! Thankfully some of my vents work properly still, but this is a truly frustrating situation equally my auto is not high mileage considering it is from 2022.

A couple weeks ago my heat went out - it blows cold air. I called Nissan, explained my situation. Took it to my garage because my dealer NEVER returned my calls for a calendar week! Paid $300.00 (for what they thought was wrong). Low and behold virtually a couple days subsequently - NO HEAT again. Nissan did reimburse me for that payment. Still tried to phone call my dealer - NO response again!!!
I chosen Nissan. They said the take it to my dealer. Finally I got an appointment later I have my garage look at it once again. MY garage are the people that brought to my attention that this problem should accept been recalled years ago. I chosen my rep from Nissan (like a minute once again) and faxed her the paperwork I had found. My garage gave me a quote - a low ane.
I took the car to my dealer - Rothrock. They absolutely SUCK!! They just left a voice mail of a quote for over $2,000!!! What a joke. I volition not pay this beak!!!! This is and then ridiculous! Information technology's similar Nissan is acting they did not know nearly this problem.
It is 14 degrees in the morning here. I would like them to pay for the neb. That's all I'm asking. They are a Big corporation, right? What I don't sympathize is all the articles I plant - I should have been told that this problem exists!!!
Thanks for the vent.

The air conditioning stopped working. I tried setting the temperature dial set to coldest, tried both settings of the Max Air conditioning push, tried both settings of the recirculated air button, made sure the vents were opened, tried unlike fan speeds. No matter what, the vents blow room temperature air out. When the problem first started happening, occasionally restarting the machine would fix it. Now, even that doesn't seem to help.

Out of the blueish, our 2022 Rogue estrus stopped working this morning, fan bravado cold air, oestrus turned upwardly to max.. But out of warranty by ii months and 4000 miles. I searched for a couple hours this morning and once again for a hour before married woman came home later on piece of work freezing in car. Talk nearly getting a headache. It was almost 12 degrees this morning in CT and wife collection to work with no heat, did usual 5+ infinitesimal warm up
I plant a few parts that information technology could exist and was going to bank check those connections, $xx sensors and see if I could locate the fault. One person on a forum/blog mentioned what they said was a ridiculous fix only information technology worked for them. They turned the a/c on max and dial all the way to coldest setting, ran a/c for a couple minutes on high, turned a/c off, both button lights off, and turned heat knob to high, and Wa-lah it worked. Thank-you for your like shooting fish in a barrel gear up
I only did the same thing and wa-lah it worked, and dealers are charging $500-1600 and sometimes doesn't correct problem, something so uncomplicated, I'thousand thinking we had to fool the computer or freeze out the sensor and it some how rest the heat to work, actually feels a lot hotter than it ever did before. The other person said they have had to exercise this once in a while to get heat to work properly, they also have a Nissan titan with no issues, lol the wife said her husband laughs when she has to do this trick to make the car have heat..
My wife loves the car, It'south the but problem we have had since buying new Jan 2022 with 14 miles on it Promise this helps let me know and thanks to who posted this somewhere that I read in my 3 hours of searching for a cure.

Then, today is December 10, 2022, and I merely bought a used 2022 Nissan Rogue from the Ken Garff dealership in downtown Salt Lake City on November thirty, 2022. Information technology gets cold in Table salt Lake City, already had a few inches of snowfall collect on the footing, and and then having a working heater in your vehicle is important. The heater in this thing doesn't piece of work. I don't get it; a vehicle, simply past running, gets hot. Winter, Summer, rain or snow, your engine and the compartment it sits in gets hot after running, so heating the air that feeds the motel of the vehicle should take less work than cooling the air to run A/C, however my Rogue does not produce warm air. I have driven short trips, and thought maybe information technology was not enough time to warm the vehicle upward, but on Saturday, December eight, 2022, I drove from Murray to Daybreak (about a 30-minute drive) with the air never getting hot, let alone warm.
How does a three year old vehicle, with less than l,000 miles on it, not accept a working heater? I am baffled. I will be taking it to a Nissan dealership, equally I hope it is yet under factory warranty, though information technology appears from some of the complaints I take read hither that it is not. I do not even have a car tag on the vehicle yet, as I take only had information technology for a week and a few days, and now I will be taking it into the shop for repair. How ridiculous.
I have never liked Nissan vehicles, and equally a one-time Parts Department Managing director at an contained service center, and a former Service Adviser at a dealership, I knew that Nissans came with a lot of cosmetic issues and mechanical flaws, but I allowed myself to be duped into thinking this would be a expert vehicle. With a heater that'due south not working afterwards only 41K miles and just three years...I'm certain I accept purchased a massive P.O.S. and will never buy a Nissan product again.

Searched Forums for days and finally found one proverb replace Ambient Air Temp sensor located in front of radiator behind grill, did that OEM 27710-31U00 only did not aid. So institute one post with pictures of Evap Sensor and information technology's behind the panel at the drivers accelerator pedal and it took literally ane minute to expose the Evap Sensor and one quick counter clockwise twist and it was out.
Then took longer to carefully pry the catch for the electrical connexion off, then supercede with new one. It's in such a confined infinite, I had to utilise a screwdriver to twist information technology clockwise to arrive catch. AND VOILA. Put plastic piece back on and the whole process would take ii minutes if I had done it before. The Air conditioning is blowing cold air perfectly so far and its been two days and a couple of hours of driving with the Air conditioning on.
Many complaints well-nigh lots of various years of Nissan vehicles not just Rogues and the dealers are replacing Compressors entire Ac Heat Boxes Ambient Air Sensors and in this example the i function the EVAP Sensor was all it took. Hope people find this solution as I didn't bookmark the i that I found with pictures of the part and where it goes and i looked for quite a while yesterday before making this mail. Good LUCK!

Bought 2022 Nissan Rogue from dealer abut 3 years old. Was a lease previously with one owner and had logged all services and cheque ups. On the drive from dealer noticed the AC was merely blowing lukewarm air. Didn't retrieve likewise much of it every bit information technology was bought directly from dealer and simply 3 years sometime. When driving the next day it was the same problem AC was not working and I tried all options of turning on/off, turning to hot to cold, etc etc.
Went online and saw this was a common problem for this automobile and year. Chosen dealer and they said they would expect at simply didn't guarantee fix or any assistance with the cost. Next few days before bringing in the heat and AC would get on and off without whatever rhyme or reason... some days the AC would work and heat wouldn't and vice versa. Dealer was not able to fix and charged $500 for but looking at.
Brought back in and at present they want to accuse $1400 and tin only guarantee the part they put in (heating unit). I have to bring information technology back in to go worked on adjacent week merely VERY unhappy with treatment at dealership and Nissan not acknowledging trouble. This is obviously a recall consequence that they are not helping with. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I pulled out of my garage, windows were clear (Outside air temp was below 10 degrees). By the time I collection v blocks the heater and defrost system could not keep upward with current atmospheric condition. Because I was dropping off a child at school and I could non see out the windows with children crossing in front of cars, l had to pull over to clear the within windows of ice build- upwards. When I pulled the car over I noticed no other automobile or suv had this problem. Last yr when the vehicle was new I had a problem with the heat..afterwards bringing my rogue into the dealer a couple times they found that the after marketplace radio Nissan installed was keeping the outside damper open. At get-go they said I was not using the controls on the heater the right style. But I told them I'm an Hvac tech and pulled out a temperature laser gun. They (Nissan) said go out the vehicle.
Update from Sep 1, 2022: I called Nissan headquarters they said bring your vehicle back to the dealership ( St. Charles, il) where I bought the vehicle. Same problem no heat on the drivers side. If the the dealship fixes the trouble information technology only final a few weeks at the most. I tried to bring my Nissan to a local Nissan, just they're agape if they attempt to gear up the problem they own it considering Nissan (Saint Charles) installed an after market radio( non by my asking). 2022 temp outside 58 adapted temp inside the vehicle to xc. Drivers side discharging 60 degrees. Passenger side 85. I challenge Nissan headquarters address this on going problem. I'll proceed this you posted if Nissan always contacts me.

My Air-conditioning is constantly on and will non turn off. The temperature is either very cold or boiling hot and nothing in the middle. The machine has been to two dealers and they problem is withal not fixed and has to go in once more on Monday.
My car too had the rear seal around the hatch leak because it wasn't sealed properly and now I too have a moisture problem with my auto. It has been in the shop for 38 days and counting now.
Since I live in NJ I was able to hire a lawyer at no charge and we are now asking for a full refund. My lawyer filed the paper piece of work with Nissan in October and they already gave me a low brawl ridiculous offer.
Update from May vii, 2022: In New Jersey you are able to hire a Lemon Constabulary Lawyer at no cost to y'all. Later sending in my service records in to my lawyer he accepted my instance. It took over two years to get an mediation appointment and I was awarded $7,000 and had to keep the car that has no heat in the winter.
Both my lawyer and I thought we should refuse the arbitrators ruling and enquire for a hearing. Ii months later Nissan settled with me and bought back the car at my purchase toll less a mileage allowance. Merely gave back the car final week and can not exist whatever happier how lawyer handled this.

defroster to vent- kicks air conditioner to stay on
several times we have used defroster to clear windows and then just put on vent to bring in outside air only the air conditioner runs bringing in common cold air we freeze. in wintertime I had used defroster and so turned on heat merely got no heat simply common cold air just what I wanted in the winter. took to dealer on the heat problem they said they made adjustments. on the vent common cold air nosotros took to dealer again we have been told that to use vent after using defroster hit vent button we then turn the air on then off and this will disengage the air conditioner. I said well that is stupid. my married man was nevertheless not happy to he called our salesman who we accept bought five nissans off of in the final four years he got in a Nissan rogue like ours my hubby walked him thru the steps and sure plenty that is how that 1 works likewise. never have a car piece of work like that, we were also told by service that sometimes you have to turn veh off and start to clear it up. sounds expert going down a highway oh await I demand to plough air cond off pull over to side of road and turn car off. I like my rogue very much but I think this is a major flaw. my husband has a 2022 Nissan borderland and it does not work like that. so we just have to remember the combination to use just vent air.

Nissan dealership says a gear is stripped that allows air to flow over the heater cadre. Needs to replace the whole "heat box" for $1700. Oestrus was always poor in the vehicle. Seemed to become worse after the 2nd year and by the 3rd yr of ownership the heat was barely working. Nissan didn't rep and wouldn't help because it was outside of warranty. This is my first Nissan and it will probably be my terminal. Car seems cheaply made, I should accept bought a Honda or Toyota. Spend the extra couple grand, it will be worth information technology in the long run.
Putting the heat to max AC for a few minutes and switching it to heat did work for a little while, merely that no longer does the play a trick on. Gear is probably completely stripped at this point.
